PLOT
The story takes place in the house of two roommates, Jassu and Mani, both present in different rooms. The scene is set in the morning, the sun is shining through the window. Jassu, being impatient and hungry had decided to make macaroni. Excited and happy about her dish, she barges into the washroom where her roommate, Mani, is sitting on the toilet. The two exchanges emotions, one oblivious and the other shocked. Overall it’s a funny incident.
TIMELINE
Scene 1
[messy kitchen, sauce on the floor, Jassu excitedly taking the pan to her roommate]
Scene 2
[while opening the washroom door] “Hiiii, I made macaroni if you want some”
Scene 3
[both staring at each other for a few seconds] [Mani not realising what just happened] “Sorry, what?”
Scene 4
[Jassu not realising she was intruding, answers innocently, explaining why she created
the dish] “Well I was starving and you took forever, so I wanted to make food”
PURPOSE
Two characters, Jassu and Mani have very different personalities. Jassu, being messy, is
involved in her own world. Mani on the other hand, is a workaholic, busy with her schedule.
Jassu likes being creative and trying new things, be it painting or cooking. She likes exploring
random things and surprising her roommate with the left over mess in their apartment. Mani
prefers to spend her time completing her tasks on time and delivering quality work to her
boss. She is always in a rush to get ready for her next meeting.
CHARACTERS
Jassu
- Jassu is the messy creative girl who tinkers around with craftsy items, to come up with
new pet projects every few days. She is often seen wearing floral prints, and big round
glasses. Her hair is a messy curly bob that adorns her shoulders.
- Her face is rounded, showing off her kind, loving nature and commitment to her
explorations. Her body is rectangular and tall, showing her innocent nature.
- Her colours are pink, representing her love and femininity, and blue, showing
self-expression.
Mani
- Mani is the hardworking worker, the busy bee. She carries a lot of energy and believes
in hustle culture. She is naturally intelligent and believes in living an organised life. She
believes that she thrives with schedule and organisation but puts up with the chaos
her roommate creates because she loves her.
- Her face is triangular, giving a feeling of action and power. Her rectangular body
represents her solidity and stability.
- Her colours are yellow, representing warmth and happiness, accompanied by blue,
depicting knowledge and integrity.
